Open day will be held at the Space Research and Technology Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (SRTI-BAS) on Friday, April 12, SRTI-BAS said.

The initiative is dedicated to the International Aviation and Cosmonautics Day, the 55th anniversary of the establishment of SRTI-BAS and the 45th anniversary of the flight of the first Bulgarian cosmonaut Georgi Ivanov.

The event will take place at Block 1 of Scientific Complex 1 of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences on Acad. Georgi Bonchev str.

The programme for the day includes scientific lectures and drone demonstrations, while the SRTI-BAS laboratories will be open for visits.
