Viktorio Iliev secured the third medal for Bulgaria’s juniors at the EUBC Youth Men and Women European Boxing Championshipsin Porec. Under the guidance of Olympic champion Stoyka Krasteva and Fikret Eredzhebov, he qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament in Croatia and secured at least a bronze medal.

In the U60kg category, the Bulgarian national achieved a well-deserved success over Nikolais Zamyatins. Iliev broke the Latvian's resistance with 4:1 judges' votes and will face the representative of the hosts Matej Marton on Friday.
