The Gregory Tsamblak State University of Taraclia hosted a presentation of archeologist Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov’s books, The Great Rulers of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom and Illustrated History of Medieval Bulgaria, the latter co-authored with Plamen Pavlov. The event was attended by students and teachers, the university rector, Assoc. Prof. Maria Paslar, and representatives of the management and Bulgarian organizations in the Taraclia District and across the country.

"This is not the first time we have been here with Professor Ovcharov," Prof. Vasil Kondov told BTA. Kondov recalled that Ovcharov and Pavlov had started their grand tour of countries across the world "from us, from our university, several years ago".

"I was impressed by the book which deals with the Bulgarian kings during the Second Bulgarian Kingdom and took him 25 years to complete," Kondov said.

A similar presentation of historical literature was held at the Vasil Levski Bulgarian Theoretical Lyceum in Chisinau. The Bulgarian guests there took part in an unveiling ceremony of a bust monument to Bulgaria’s national hero, which was donated by Varna's Association of Bulgarians around the World.
