The Bulgarian national football team retained its 83rd position in the FIFA world rankings for the month of March.

Bulgaria has an asset of 1,292.59 points and failed to move up despite a positive balance from the Baku tour after a 1-0 win over Tanzania and a 1-1 draw with host Azerbaijan.

Of the national team's rivals in the upcoming Nations League, Northern Ireland's squad is the highest placed, climbing one position to 73rd. The leader in Group C of the Nations League tournament, Luxembourg, drops two places to 87th. Belarus is in 96th place.

World champion Argentina remains top of the rankings with 1,858 points.
