site.btaTargovishte to Renovate Schools with EU Funding

Two schools in Targovishte will be renovated with funding under the EU Recovery and Resilience Plan, said Mayor Dr. Darin Dimitrov and Dimitar Dimitrov, head of the projects, at a press conference on Monday.

Mayor Dimitrov said that the renovations will contribute to making the education environment more attractive in order for the students to be more involved in the learning process. He stated that the reconstruction and modernisation of the educational environment is a priority for the Municipality. Various possibilities for the organization of the educational process during the renovations are being discussed, he added.

The project envisages the renovation of the entire building of one of the schools, as well as the introduction of energy efficiency measures. An installation for the production and consumption of energy from renewable sources will also be built. At the second school, repairs are planned to the roof structure, the chimneys of the gas boilers and the steam installation. The construction of an installation for the use of alternative energy sources is also planned there, as well as the construction of an elevator.
