Traffic is intense at some border crossings with Greece, Romania, Serbia, and Turkey, the Border Police General Directorate reported on its website on Saturday evening.
At the border with Greece, there is intense traffic for outbound trucks at the Kulata checkpoint and for cars at the Makaza checkpoint. Only cars and minibuses are allowed to pass through the crossings at Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.
At the border with Romania, there is intense traffic for outbound trucks at the crossings at Vidin and Kardam.
At the border with Serbia, traffic is intense for outbound trucks at the Kalotina checkpoint. The checkpoint is undergoing reconstruction and modernisation works requiring temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganisation of the traffic of the vehicles passing through.
At the border with Turkey, traffic is intense for outbound trucks at the Kapitan Andreevo checkpoint and for cars at the Malko Tarnovo crossing.
At the border with North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all checkpoints.
