site.btaPresident to Meet Thursday Two Potential Caretaker PMs

President Rumen Radev will be meeting later on Thursday with two potential caretaker Prime Ministers: central bank Governor Dimitar Radev and National Audit Office Chair Dimitar Glavchev, the President's Press Secretariat said.

Radev and Glavchev are in the pool of office-holders among whom the President will pick the caretaker Prime Minister. The pool is determined in recent changes to the Constitution and includes the Parliament leader, the central bank governor and deputy governors, the National Audit Office leader and their deputy, and the Ombudsman and Deputy Ombudsman. 

Earlier on Thursday, GERB leader Boyko Borissov asked the President, through the news media, not to pick Glavchev or the Parliament leader, Rossen Zhelyazkov, for caretaker Prime Minister because they would be associated with GERB.
