Hundreds of bikers from all over the country on Sunday opened the 2024 motorcycle season in Yambol with a motorcycle procession that passed through the city. A liturgy for health and an accident-free motorcycle season was held afterwards, said Dobri Dobrev, President of the local motorcycle club The Riders.

"We urge both motorists and motorcyclists to pay attention to the road, to check the condition of their bikes and to be technically sound for the season," emphasized the motorcycle club. Plamen Kolev, Secretary of the Riders motorcycle club, also urged car drivers to always look twice in the mirror and to never forget that motorcyclists "also have families". 

The Interior Ministry said that an organization had been set up to ensure that the opening of each club's motorcycle season in different places in Bulgaria this year would run normally.
