A government must not be formed and Vazrazhdane will vote against it, the leader of this nationalist party, Kostadin Kostadinov, told reporters in Parliament Wednesday. "This immoral political deal with a ruling coalition involving GERB, Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria [CC-DB] and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, is dashing the hopes of Bulgarian people for normal development of this country," he said/

He said that what is happening is without precedent in the past 34 years.

On Tuesday, GERB-UDF Prime Minister-designate Mariya Gabriel took to President Rumen Radev a proposal for a government lineup after he mandated her a day earlier to try to form a government. The proposed lineup had most of the ministers of the Nikolay Denkov Cabinet, in which GERB-UDF and CC-DB shared the power, but later the same day it transpired that Gabriel had not secured the consent of CC-DB for her proposal and a rift between the two coalitions ensured - bringing even more uncertainty about the future of the Bulgarian government.

He believes that "these ugly political games, show, circus will only lower further voter turnout in the elections".

He pointed out that on Tuesday night CC-DB called Mariya Gabriel "the beautiful face of the Mafia" and now "they are ready to go again to talks with this beautiful face of the Mafia".

Kostadinov reiterated that elections are the only viable option in this situation. "Elections are a cleanse. The alternatives are a coup or a revolution. These are the three forms of change," he also said.

Resorting to another talking point of his, he said that "foreign factors and especially the American Embassy" fully dominate Bulgarian politics.
