site.btaFirst 15 Schools Receive Funding Contracts to Build STEM Classrooms
The construction of STEM classrooms in more than 2,200 schools and special education support centres in Bulgaria has begun. The first 15 schools received funding contracts to build STEM centres from Education and Science Minister Galin Tzokov at a ceremony in the Jose de San Martin secondary school in Sofia on Tuesday. Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov also attended the event.
The contracts awarded to the first 15 schools total over BGN 2.8 mln, while the entire project totals over BGN 530 million under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the Education Ministry said.
Tzokov said that he expects the number of funding contracts with schools to increase rapidly in the coming months.
