The Municipality of Nessebar was presented on Tuesday to representatives of the Turkish tourism industry at the national press club of BTA in Ankara.

Guests at the event, which was opened by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Turkiye, Angel Cholakov, were leading representatives of the tourism industry in the country.

During the event, a film about Nessebar and the area around the city was screened.

For 40 years, Nessebar has been included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage and is a living museum of nature, culture, crafts and traditions. This one place combines the most valuable of our centuries-old historical heritage and the most modern option for avant-garde tourism, Ambassador Cholakov said.
Cholakov also pointed out that the BTA press club in Turkiye was opened a year ago, and "the idea is that it will be not only a press club, but also a club for business, culture and tourism".

Participants in the event had the opportunity to discuss the possibilities for increasing the number of tourists from Turkiye to Bulgaria.

At the end of the meeting, guests enjoyed a folklore performances of the Nessebar Municipality United Art School, led by Danislav Kehayov.
