site.btaBulgaria Participates in International Fair of Tourism in Serbia

Bulgaria’s Tourism Ministry presented the country at the International Fair of Tourism (Sajam Turizma), held between February 22 and 25 in Belgrade, the Ministry said in a press release on Sunday. The International Fair of Tourism is the largest tourism event in Serbia and Southeast Europe. It is intended for both the general public and professionals in the industry. In 2024, the forum was held for the 45th time.

Bulgaria was represented by 10 tourism companies, branch organizations and municipal administrations at an information stand of 100 square metres.

Traditionally, national and regional tourism organizations from all over the world, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, cruises, hotel equipment suppliers, media representatives and industry bloggers participate in the exhibition.

Bulgaria is popular among Serbian citizens as a destination offering mainly beach tourism, but there is potential to increase the number of cultural tours, spa, wellness and other specialized forms of tourism such as city breaks.
