British scientist Prof. Mark Irvine took seawater samples during the 32nd Bulgarian expedition to Antarctica while on board the Bulgarian naval research vessel Sv. Sv. Kiril i Metodii (RSV 421). The scientist sailed to several destinations to fish krill with a net from a depth of 15 metres. The experiment's main objective was to estimate the level of sea pollution.
