The National Assembly adopted on Thursday in the second reading changes to the Crude Oil and Petroleum Products Stocks Act.
The changes were voted en bloc with 117 votes in favour, two against and 48 abstentions.
The adopted texts stipulate that economic operators and/or storage facilities that have the opportunity to provide oil and oil products and/or have free vessel capacities for storing stocks for emergency situations on the territory of other member states of the European Union, apply this right up to 50% of the individually determined stock levels for the respective categories of petroleum products and oil.
Any specific delegation is allowed at the request of the obliged legal entity after prior permission from the competent authorities of the other member state of the European Union, in whose territory the stocks will be stored, and subsequent permission from the agency, according to the adopted regulations.
