site.btaCulture Minister Krastev Paying Working Visit to Germany

Bulgarian Culture Minister Krastyu Krastev is paying a working visit to Germany until January 28, his Ministry said on Thursday.

In Berlin, Krastev will confer with German Minister of State for Culture and the Media Claudia Roth and with S. Fischer Foundation Executive Director Antje Contius, who is also founder of the TRADUKI European Network for Literature and Books. Bulgaria joined TRADUKI as full member in 2019.

In Magdburg on January 27, the Minister will have a meeting with Bundestag Committee on Cultural and Media Affairs Chairwoman Katrin Budde and with Saxony-Anhalt Landtag (Parliament) President Gunnar Schellenberger.
Krastev will also visit the theatre in Magdeburg, where he will present a citation and a plaquette for services to the promotion of culture to prominent Bulgarian conductor Svetoslav Borisov.

During his visit to Germany, the Culture Minister will also hold talks with Bulgarian Ambassador Grigor Porozhanov and with the Director of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin, Borislav Petranov. They will discuss a strengthening of cooperation between Goethe-Institut in Sofia and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin.
