site.btaPetar Gergyovski Wins First Place at European Cup in Pamporovo

Bulgaria's Petar Gergyovski won first place at the European Junior Alpine Snowboard Cup in Pamporovo on Wednesday. In the final, Gergyovski beat Werner Pietsch (Austria). For the Bulgarian who has been the junior world champion since 2023 it was his first victory in the European Cup and only his third participation in this rank of competitions. The other Bulgarian athlete Tervel Zamfirov, also World Champion, placed third after defeating Mykhailo Haruk (Ukraine).

In the women's event, the best Bulgarian athlete Teodora Pencheva finished 14th and the second Bulgarian in the finals Zhivka Uzunova was 16th.
