site.btaMRF Leaders to Finance Church Food Centre

Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) honorary leader Ahmed Dogan and the Movement’s floor leader Delyan Peevski will help set a soup kitchen with the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, Peevski said after he and MRF deputy leader Yordan Tsonev met with members of the Holy Synod. First a soup kitchen will open with the Sofia Metropolitanate, followed by more centres at other metropolitanates. These food centres will help people who are in need. 

The project will be financed with private funds and donations. 

The Holy Synod welcomed the idea with gratitude. The meeting mapped out steps for its implementation. 

Attending the meeting were the metropolitans of Veliko Tarnovo, Lovech, Plovdiv, Varna, Nevrokop, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Vratsa, Vidin and Dorostol.
