Sofia, June 19 (BTA) - In 2019, the average price per hectare of arable land reached 10,530 leva, which was 7.4 per cent higher compared with 2018, the National Statistical Institute said on Friday.
The average price of transactions in arable land between physical and legal persons amounted of 10,270 leva, while the price between legal persons was 11,220 leva. Average price per one hectare of permanent grassland (meadows and pastures) in 2019 reached 3,000 leva, up by 37.6 per cent from the previous year.
In 2019, the highest price of arable land was recorded in Northeastern region - 14,620 leva per hectare, up by 7.7 per cent from 2019. In the North Central region the price of arable land transactions reached 11,380 leva per one hectare and in the Northwestern region - 9,670 leva. In comparison with 2018 the respective increase in the price in both regions was by 3.6 per cent and 9.4 per cent. Increase in the prices of arable land transactions in 2019 was registered in all six regions.
The average rent price per one hectare of hired/leased arable land in 2019 reached 490 leva, which was 2 per cent lower from 2018. The average price per one hectare of hired/leased permanent grassland was 230 leva, up by 43.8 per cent in comparison with the previous year. RI/PP
