site.bta117 New COVID-19 Cases Bring Bulgaria's Total to 3,872

June 21 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 3,872 on Sunday after 117 new infections were confirmed over the last 24 hours out of 1,646 PCR tests, the Health Ministry said in a press release.

The active cases are 1,646. The newly infected persons include 2 medical staff (nurses), and this category now totals 343.

The hospitalized patients number 322, including 13 in intensive care.

Another 19 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 2,027.

Six more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death toll to 199. RI/LG
