Bulgarian artist Simeon Halachev will present his new paintings at Minerva Gallery. The exhibition will run from January 23 to February 21, the organizers said.

"He is an artist who is not content merely with the external, purely aesthetic aspect of art. He works hard on the compositional and decorative aspects of the work, bringing them to perfection to create the ideal setting for the intellectual and spiritual interplay of the imagery in his paintings," the gallery added.

Simeon Halachev was born in 1977. He grew up in a family of artists, which determined his life path. Halachev has participated in numerous group exhibitions and competitions in Bulgaria and abroad. He has been awarded the first drawing prize of the Paul Weber Museum and has won the annual small-format painting competition in Japan. His solo exhibitions at the Institut français de Bulgarie, Nava Gallery, Agora Gallery, Tea Gallery and Artamontsev Gallery have been particularly successful.
