In order to promote Sofia and Bulgaria among Turkish tourists, the Tourism Ministry organized a tour for journalists from leading Turkish print and electronic media, the Ministry said on Monday.

Tourism Minister Zaritsa Dinkova spoke in detail about the wide range of opportunities Bulgaria offers as a year-round tourist destination for rehabilitation, spa, balneology, wine and culinary tourism. She assured them that the Bulgarian authorities are making every effort to facilitate the access of Turkish citizens to the tourist services in Bulgaria. She also briefed the journalists on future initiatives of her Ministry to promote Bulgaria in Turkiye.

The guests were shown the main attractions in the capital Sofia and tasted Bulgarian wine.
