The weather conditions for mountain hiking are good on Thursday, the Mountain Rescue Service told BTA. There are moderate winds in the high parts of the Balkan Mountains. The lift facilities are operating in the winter resorts of Vitosha, Pamporovo, Bansko and Borovets.
Mountain rescuers warn hikers to be prepared for the winter conditions in the mountains.
No incidents with hikers were reported in the past 24 hours.
