site.bta4.3-Magntitude Earthquake Registered in Central Turkiye
An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 was felt Wednesday morning in central Turkiye, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said on its website.
The quake's epicentre was 62 km northwest of the town of Adıyaman, where about 223,000 people live. The earthquake's depth was some 5 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
Adıyaman was one of the hardest hit localities in the 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes in February this year, which claimed the lives of more than 50,000 people.
