site.btaPrime Minister Discusses Higher Education Funding with Sofia University Leaders

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov met with the newly elected rector of Sofia University, Georgi Valchev, and his predecessor, Anastas Gerdzhikov, to discuss the funding model for institutions of higher learning, the Council of Ministers said on its Facebook page on Thursday.

They considered ways to raise the quality of higher education, support research and digitize libraries.

The three attended the inauguration of a new building of the Clean&Circle Centre of Competence at the Lozenets campus of Sofia University.
