An event of the series, Bulgarian Concert Evenings in New York, will be held at the Bulgarian Consulate General in the US metropolis on the evening of Wednesday, December 20, the Consulate General told BG World, a news service of BTA. The show will start at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
Miryana Moteva (piano) and David Brubaker (violin) will be featured in the concert.
The Consulate General has invited donations for a campaign of the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York and the Office of the Mayor. The campaign is aimed to provide new winter clothing and bedclothes for the neediest people in the city. Toys are also accepted.
The Bulgarian Consulate General said they are one of five diplomatic representations in the most populous US city where special centres are receiving winter clothes much needed by many homeless people and migrants. Donations will be received during Wednesday evening's concert as well.
