Bulgarian Ambassador to Canada Plamen Georgiev toured the four Bulgarian Orthodox churches in Toronto between December 9 and 10, the Bulgarian Embassy in Ottawa reports on its website.

Georgiev talked with local priests and the boards of trustees of the Churches of St Dimitar, St George, St Cyril and St Methodius, and the Holy Trinity.

The diplomat reaffirmed the Bulgarian government's care and high regard for these houses of worship. The sides agreed to continue their excellent cooperation, the Embassy says.
