Two New Bulgarian Swimming Records Set at Short Course Championships in Burgas

Tonislav Sabev set a new national record in the men's 50m breaststroke at the Bulgarian Short Course Swimming Championships in Burgas. He won the final with a time of 26.97 seconds and became the first Bulgarian to go under 27 seconds in the discipline. The previous best achievement was held by Mihail Alexandrov - 27.33 seconds in 2006.

Sprint Sofia’s relay in the men's 4 by 50 m freestyle also set a new record. The quartet of Josif Miladinov, Kaloyan Levterov, Tonislav Sabev and Yordan Yanchev gave a total time of 1:29.45 minutes, which improved the previous achievement of PSC Cherno More - 1:30.04, set two years ago again in Burgas.
