Speaking Saturday on Nova news, Vice President Iliana Iotova said that to her, it is as if the vote of no confidence had already taken place. To ask for the resignation of the interior minister in a situation where a vote of no confidence on the issue of "security" has been demanded, and this resignation is not demanded by the opposition but by the ruling party - this means that they themselves admit that there are problems with security in the country, i.e. the opposition is right, Iotova commented.

What will be the formal decision in the vote, I think it is clear to everyone, she added.

According to her, the resignation of the interior minister could also be demanded for the way he explained his absence on the evening of the protests in Sofia. The explanation with the cinema is an explanation for the naïve, and I do not think it is very right to mislead the Bulgarian citizens in this way because it is insulting, Vice President Iotova further said.
