site.btaIlian Iliev Is New National Football Team Manager

Ilian Iliev was presented formally as the new manager of the national football team on Wednesday. 

The manager of FC Cherno More will lead the national team in the European championships qualifications against Hungary and Serbia in mid-November. 

Iliev is replacing Mladen Krstajic who was fired over the team’s poor performance.

Petar Kostadinov and Georgi Donkov will be Iliev’s assistants. Zdravko Zdravkov will coach the goalkeepers, Yassen Todorov will be conditioning coach and Atanas Ribarski - analyst.

"The first goal is to change the mood of the team. There should be more positivity. We’ll try to play tactically right against Hungary and Serbia,” said Iliev during his presentation.
