site.btaE-Government Ministry Livestreams Certification of Voting Machines for November 5 Runoffs

The E-government Ministry has enabled members of the public, representatives of institutions and the media to observe in real time the process for compliance certification of the voting machines. The process takes place in a controlled environment and is livestreamed on a video wall in one of the halls of the Ministry.  

The certification procedure began at 8 pm on Tuesday and is supervised by experts of the State Agency for National Security after an invitation by the Ministry.  

The E-government Ministry said that later a ministry official will give details about how the process is progressing. Tsvetelina Peneva, chair of the Public Council with the Central Election Commission, was attending.
