site.bta91.5 Kg Marijuana Seized at Bulgarian-Greek Border

Customs officers seized 91.5 kg of marijuana during a check of a truck crossing the Bulgarian-Greek border at Kulata checkpoint, the Customs Agency said Monday.

The Bulgarian-plated truck was stopped for a check and the customs officers found 81 packs with a total of 91.5 kg of marijuana hidden in hollows in the truck. The truck is owned by a Sofia-based company.

Pre-trial proceedings have been launched.

A 59-year-old man was arrested in the case.
