The Bulgarian bulk carrier Rojen is expected to sail from the Israeli port of Ashdod on October 21 or 22, Alexander Kalchev, CEO of Rojen's shipowner - Navigation Maritime Bulgare shipping company (Navibulgar), told BTA on Thursday. He specified that the information came from the port authorities in Ashdod.
BTA recalls that Rojen will remain in port until the unloading of its bulk cargo is completed - the timeframe depends on the weather.
Currently, the ship has a crew of 17, after four sailors returned home on Wednesday, said Kalchev. He added that they have contact with the crew and there are currently no problems.
