Bulgaria’s Foreign Affairs Ministry Wednesday issued a travel advisory for Israel. The Ministry reiterates its call on Bulgarian nationals who are currently in Israel to register with the Bulgarian Embassy, irrespective of whether they wish to leave the country forthwith or not.

Bulgaria’s Embassy in Tel Aviv maintains a database of Bulgarian citizens who want to leave Israel and updates it on a daily basis. There is no flight scheduled to evacuate Bulgarian nationals from Israel for the time being. That is why the Foreign Affairs Ministry advises Bulgarians to use any of the commercial flights from Ben Gurion Airport to various destinations in Europe, including Bulgaria. As of now, people can also leave Israel via the port of Haifa.

In case Bulgaria organizes a new evacuation flight, priority will be given to people visiting Israel briefly, medical and humanitarian cases, mothers with their little children, and people living in high-risk areas such as Israel’s southern parts, the Foreign Ministry said.
