National carrier Turkish Airlines' Senior Vice President in charge of media relations, Yahya Uustun, said on his X account that that all Turkish Airlines flights to Israel are cancelled until further notice due to the escalation of violence between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas.

This was followed by the cancellation of flights by the private Turkish airline Pegasus, which also operates scheduled flights to Israel. "Due to the events in Israel, our airline is cancelling all flights to and from Israel until further notice," it was reported on the airline's website.
