Pavlikeni Municipality will present its collection of contemporary art in an exhibition and catalogue, the municipality said. With the assistance of the Amateras Foundation, the collection of contemporary art that the Municipality has gathered over the past years within the framework of the international plein-air project Pavlikeni and the World will be on show at the Rafael Mihailov Exhibition Halls in Veliko Tarnovo.

The project started in 2012 with the idea that an exchange between artists from different countries could present the cultural heritage of Pavlikeni and the creation of a collection of contemporary art in different genres. Each year the selection of artists was linked to a specific country or region of the world. Well-established artists with extensive creative experience from Finland, Japan, South Korea, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, Slovakia, Lithuania, Iran and Bulgaria have participated in the Plein Air Workshops, creating and donating to Pavlikeni works of sculpture, painting, graphics, ceramic, paper and digital art, installations, calligraphy, etc. The opening of the exhibition Pavlikeni and the World (2012 - 2022) will take place at 6:30 pm on September 7 at the Rafael Mihailov Exhibition Halls in Veliko Tarnovo.
