The State Puppet Theatre in Targovishte is taking part in the International Festival of Puppetry in Podgorica, Montenegro, where the company will present their Bremen Town Musicians, the cultural institution in the northeastern city said. 

Bremen Town Musicians is a puppet-theatrical performance inspired by the world-famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm. Dramatization and direction are credited to Teodora Popova, the set was designed by Diana Uzunova-Todorova and Georgi Garchov was responsible for the music. The characters are performed by the actors Mr. Dinev - Dido, Denitsa Slaveva, Dimitar Karaivanov, Mikaela Kurkchieva, Hristo Dokov. 

Diana Uzunova-Todorova won the Best Set and Puppets Design prize at the 22nd The Magic Curtain I festival for children's performances. Dimitar Karaivanov was distinguished for his performance as the Cock in the Bremen Town Musicians at the Mihail Lakatnik National Puppet Theatre Fest in Yambol. 

The programme of the jubilee tenth International Festival of Puppetry, Podgorica, includes performances by companies from Serbia, Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. They will perform on stage from August 31 to September 4. The performance of the actors from the puppet theatre in Targovishte is on September 3, the organisers said.
