Minister of Environment and Water Julian Popov met with the Ambassador of Algeria Messaoud Mehila, the Environment Ministry said Thursday.

Minister Popov highlighted the great importance of relations with Algeria, stressing that there is potential for deepening friendship and mutual assistance. As a positive step in this direction, he pointed to the expansion of the legal basis for cooperation with Algeria in the fields of environment, water and climate through the conclusion of a bilateral treaty.
