The organizations of war veterans in Bulgaria and Moldova have signed partnership agreements. The event took place in the Afghanistan War Veterans Museum in Taraclia District.

The agreements were signed between the Bulgarian Paratroopers Union and the Association of Airborne Veterans of Taraclia District, and between the Military Union and the Officers' Union of Moldova, the Taraclia District administration said.

Col. Manol Tenchev (res.), a Bulgarian national security and defence expert, told TUK.MD that one of the most important points of the agreements is the military-patriotic education of young people. "I believe that the military-patriotic unions should cooperate more closely to help the development of civil society in Bulgaria and Moldova and to familiarize young people with the traditions of their armed forces."

The veterans from Bulgaria donated military items to the museum. Together with their counterparts from the cities of Taraclia and Chisinau and the villages of Cazaclia and Copceac, the guests joined the celebration of Airborne Forces Day in Taraclia District.
