site.btaCereal and Oilseeds Producers to Receive Over BGN 32 Mln of Financial Support

The reception of aid applications by farmers affected by the increased imports of agricultural products as a result of the solidarity corridors established between the European Union (EU) and Ukraine will start next week, the Agriculture Ministry said on Wednesday.

The budget set for Bulgaria is over BGN 32.75 million, with national co-financing of up to 100% of the EU funds. The additional national support will be provided upon availability of funds in the budget of the State Fund Agriculture.

The support is granted under the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/739 of April 4 providing for an emergency support measure for Bulgaria, Poland and Romania and is designate to farmers in the cereals and oilseeds sectors.
