Nikolay Pavlov was appointed Deputy Economy Minister on Friday, the press service of the Council of Ministers said.

Pavlov was a director at the Economic and Social Council of Bulgaria. He served as Deputy Sports Minister in the period 2019-2021. At the Labour Ministry, he held the post of Parliamentary Secretary and worked at the Directorate General of European Funds and International Programmes and Projects.

Pavlov holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of National and World Economy and a Bachelor's degree in International Tourism from Turin, Italy.
