The conditions for hiking in the mountains are good, the Mountain Rescue Service told BTA. Tourists are cautioned to take more fluids, wear headgear and use sunscreen. The weather is sunny with low wind.
Hikers are to handle fire with caution because of the risk of forest fires and the heat wave, the Rescue Service said.
There were no incidents involving hikers over the past 24 hours.
According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, the weather will be mostly sunny in the mountains. Wind moderate northwesterly, to occasionally high around the tops. Highs: about 28C at 1,200 m, 20C at 2,000 m.
