Within six months from the enactment of this law, the National Assembly and the judicial authorities will start a procedure for a new election of members of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), the MP’s decided by voting the amendments to the Judicial System Act on second reading here on Friday. All pending and unfinished procedures for the election of members of the SJC were terminated.
