Moldovan President Maia Sandu received outgoing Bulgarian Ambassador Evgeny Stoychev. The talks were focused on bilateral cooperation and the following stages in the process of the country's accession to the European Union, Moldpress reported, quoting the presidential press office.
The head of State thanked the ambassador for the support to the Moldovan government's European programme. Sandu noted that her country continues to rely on Bulgaria's support on the way to EU accession.
The Gregory Tsamblak State University in Taraclia was also discussed. Sandu underscored that this should be a functional, modern and competitive educational establishment offering quality education to students. "All young people in Moldova deserve a quality education, regardless of where they study," she added.
