site.btaCC, DB, Save Sofia Nominate Businessman Vassil Terziev to Run for Sofia Mayor

Continue the Change (CC), Democratic Bulgaria (DB) and Save Sofia are nominating businessman Vassil Terziev to run for Sofia mayor in the forthcoming local elections. The nomination is also supported by Sofia's Team group of varied experts, it emerged at an event organized by the formations here on Tuesday.

Vassil Terziev was born on June 9, 1978. He graduated in Business Administration from the American University in Blagoevgrad, BTA learnt. In 2002, he was one of the co-founders of the Telerik software company. In 2014, Telerik was sold to Progress Software Corporation for over USD 260 million. After that, Terziev began to invest in startup companies. From 2017 to 2023 he was part of the Eleven VC Fund management. 

Vassil Terziev co-founded the Telerik Academy for software designers in 2010, as well as of the Campus Ex business incubator for startups.

Terziev is member of the boards of the Together in Class educational organization and the American University in Bulgaria.
