It will be a pity if the talking about 'big reforms' in the judiciary finally boils down to the removal of the Prosecutor General, Vice President Iliana Iotova said. Iotova was attending Tuesday's celebration of the 90th birthday of celebrated artist Svetlin Rusev in his native Pleven, North Central Bulgaria. The celebrations of the event are organized under the auspices of the Vice President. 

Iotova underscored that over previous years she has witnessed how other revisions to the Bulgarian Constitution were made under the influence of European institutions, especially the advice of the Venice Commission, the European Commission. 

Referring to the part of the procedure on the Prosecutor General's dismissal involving the presidential decree and how President Rumen Radev will approach the matter, Iotova commented that he would acquaint himself carefully with the arguments of the Supreme Judicial Council and would take his decision in keeping with the law and he Constitution to the letter.

On Wednesday, Iotova will unveil the 20th International Festival of Red Cross and Health Films in Varna, on the Black Sea, the organizers from the Bulgarian Red Cross said. The forum is to be launched on at 5:00 pm in front of the Festival and Congress Centre with a concert of the Berkovska Brass Band, fest Director Iliya Raev said.
