Military training in schools will be entirely theoretical and students will not acquire military qualifications or special skills in handling weapons, ammunition, explosives, etc., the Ministry of Defence told BTA. BTA contacted the Ministry about the draft regulation on the conditions and procedure for organizing, conducting and providing training of Bulgarian citizens for the protection of the homeland, which states that students in 10th and 11th grades will have five hours of military training per school year.
