March 26 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 321,104 after 17,825 tests identified 3,988 new infections on Thursday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate stands at 22.4 per cent.

There were 9,281 COVID-19 patients in Bulgarian hospitals on Thursday, including 769 people in intensive care.

The active cases are 64,120. Another 2,161 recoveries were reported, bringing the total to 244,472. There were 99 fatalities and the death toll now stands at 12,512.

The capital Sofia tops the list of new cases with 1,109 positive tests, followed by Varna with 362 and Burgas with 321.

With 14,292 new inoculations on Thursday, the number of vaccine
doses administered so far reached 415,601. A total of 83,134 people have received two doses. RI/DD
