Sofia, March 28 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 327,770 after 11,931 tests identified 2,537 new infections on Saturday, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/ early on Sunday. The test positivity rate now stands at 21.25 per cent.

The active cases are 66,216. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 9,674, including 769 in intensive care.

Another 1,453 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 248,904.

Forty-nine fatalities were reported and the death toll now adds up to 12,650.

With 3,930 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, 434,158 persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. LN/
