site.btaCOVID-19 Update: Over 5,000 New Cases in 24 Hours, A New Record High in Bulgaria

March 31 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 338,426 after 20,455 tests identified 5,176
new infections, according to data posted on Wednesday on
https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at
25.30 per cent.

The active cases are 69,666. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 9,811, including 748 in intensive care.

Another 3,219 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours.

With 155 fatalities reported, the death toll now adds up to
13,068.

With 13,183 new inoculations over the last 24 hours, a total of
458,731 doses of the three vaccines have been administered in
Bulgaria.
