site.btaSocialists to Not Support Any Cabinet Proposed by GERB

April 5 (BTA) - Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) leader
Kornelia Ninova told a briefing at the party's headquarters on
Monday that the BSP's position of principle is an "anti-GERB
coalition". "We will not support any government proposed by
GERB, be it with or without [GERB leader Boyko] Borissov, with
experts or with politicians," Ninova said. She also said that
the entire BSP Executive Bureau had just resigned but that she
would not tender her resignation, because at the moment the
party can not remain leaderless and hold internal elections.

Based on early election results as at Monday, the GERB-UDF
coalition won Sunday's parliamentary elections in Bulgaria. The
BSP for Bulgaria placed third after the There Is Such a People
party.

In Ninova's words, the BSP had the goal of being a political
power but lost even the second place in Sunday's general
elections. She described this as a heavy loss.

After the health, economic and social crisis, the country is
entering a political crisis, Ninova argued, and called for
wisdom rather than emotions.
